Indian courts want to know colour of whistleblower’s shirt before they would proceed with hearing

These are tweets I sent off this morning, on our esteemed supreme courts wanting to know the person who provided evidence against cbi (Central Bureau of Investigations, India) chief. Are We to Infer that they would proceed only if they know that person?

  1. supreme court wants Prashant Bhushan to reveal id of whistleblower, in a ‘sealed envelope,’ no less!
  2. As if sealed envelopes have never been compromised.
  3. But BIG PROBLEM: Again Question WHY id of whistleblower NEEDED.
  4. EVIDENCE, in this case, is IN WRITTEN RECORDS, NOT IN VERBAL TESTIMONY OF WHISTLE BLOWER.
  5. If military secrets stolen, does it matter if it was done by a colonel or a clerK?
  6. Would enemy examine secrets in the documents or uniforms of colonel/clerk/clown?
  7. ALL THIS SHOWS ANIMOSITY OF COURTS AND GOVT TOWARDS WHISTLEBLOWERS.
  8. THAT IN TURN SHOWS COURTS NOT REALLY INTERESTED IN JUSTICE.
  9. Let courts be concerned Only with Right and Wrong. Not in who brought the complaint.
  10. Asking to see Who brought complaint BLATANT PARTIALITY, and Idiocy.
  11. In West, Jury is not supposed to listen to news or read papers. Will get influenced! Great Jury!
  12. In India, supreme court wants to know name of person who presented evidence and colour of his shirt before it would proceed with case.
  13. courts have to understand We have come a LONG way. they are not dealing with old women, so to say.
  14. There are enough gullible people, but courts have to remember that they cannot fool all the people all the time.
  15. There are enough clowns in cinema and TV. We do not need CLOWNS and COMEDIANS in courts.
