A Small Victory for Democracy

The admk, jayalalitha’s party, has been Very Clever, in organizing the so-called protests all across Tamil Nadu. And they have been clever, not in a good way, just like their boss. Consider, Not all ‘protests’ taking place in One place or on One day. Staggered. Well publicized, etc. If Only Such Enthusiasm had been shown in the Welfare of the People! But that is another story.

We would be EXTREMELY NAIVE even to Imagine that much of these so called protests were Voluntary. Public property was damaged, Shops shut down, Public Vehicles did not Ply, Cine Stars and Sports persons came out in her support.

IF ANYBODY THINKS PEOPLE COULD HAVE SAID ‘NO’ WHEN THESE PARTY GOONS CAME CALLING FOR IT, HE NEEDS A FREE BED IN SOME MENTAL ASYLUM.

Ramdas of PMK, another political party in TN, started coming out with his statements against the doings of the admk. Only then did even the Schools, which must have been pressurized by admk, decide to give up their ‘support’ for the woman.

The boorishness of admk was Evident when they shouted slogans behind the mike when #ndtv’s announcer was speaking. I have NEVER seen this kind of behaviour before.

The massive support from jaya’s party’s cadre proves that she has been throwing them enough bones. They pay her back by Intimidating the opposition, the Populace included. That is Why, jaya not getting bail, is a Small Victory for Democracy. Greater ones might come if and when more of the corrupt are taken to task.
