anna waldherr’s ‘restraint.’

*******

Could not get this ‘Reblogged,’ even after going to Firefox. Doing it by main force, with the following words, shared also on Facebook.

I find this, – particularly referring to the graphic in Anna’s post, – Absolutely Inhuman. In India, they treat the ‘Real’ criminals with TLC (Tender Loving Care),

The man in white is one ‘Dara Singh,’ killer of Pastor Staines AND his family.

and Badly beat up those whom We would call The Innocent.

Above, beaten By the police, Thank You.

Abroad, I have not seen photographs of Carlos, the Drug lord and Mass killer, being treated this way.

My Blogging friend Anna, who is a Lawyer, keeps raising these issues.

These can be stopped Only if a Million voices rise against these.Simpler would be for Religious leaders, like the Pope, the Cardinals, Bishops, the Dalai Lama to speak up. …The Jesuit authorities in India spoke up for Fr. Stan; …for their Own.

Does it not make Your heart ache to see this, as it does mine?

These days…

*******

These days, my Dear Friends, have been concentrating on writing posts for my Facebook page: For Catholics, accessed through @swamiyesudas.

It has been both my hope and Firm belief that people, Actively taking part in the affairs of life, can Effect Powerful changes.

It is the Apathy and Lethargy of mankind that prevents this action, and results in the proliferation of evil.

On the other side Christians, – I shall limit myself to catholics, as I dislike infringing upon areas not my own, thus – catholics, seem to think that attending ‘mass,’ to use the word they themselves would use, saying ‘book’ prayers, going for pilgrimages, and giving to charity is all there is to it; and the clergy takes pains (!) that the laity remain in this mindset.

Christ Weeps.

Here is a sample of what I write there.

…Do hope You visit that page. …Hearty Regards.

PS: Am not able to type all that well with my left hand. So forgive me if I do not get in touch with You too much.

One sided, and I would say, Cowardly.

This is addressing ONE side of issues, Francis @Pontifex. Till you write addressing Caste-ism, Racism, errant, lazy and money hungry bishops and priests, Catholic judges, policemen and officials, Regularly n Powerfully, you are failing in your duty.

Just to insert a pic, and to be abreast of things, one of two shopkeepers who were beaten SO badly they died, in police custody, in South India. [ This while Floyd‘s death is SO fresh in our minds. ]

If you are looking for meaning in life but, not finding one, you throw yourself away with “imitations of love”, such as wealth, career, pleasure, or an addiction, let Jesus look at you, and you will discover you have always been loved.

From my Tweets:

Swami Yesudas @SwamiYesudas

Archbishop Wilton starts with a bang, and fizzles out like a Damp cracker. …But he did at least that. More than can be said of #EdwardPeters, canon lawyer, #bishops in general, or the #pope

@Pontifex himself.

WHO IS MY NEIGHBOUR?

*******

So We Christians have to Love OTHERS also As much as We love ourselves.  Mark 12:31.

The word ‘Neighbour’ can also be used instead of ‘Others.’

So WHO is my Neighbour?

My Family is Not my ‘Neighbour.’ If my father lives in the next house, We will not say: ‘He is my neighbour,’ but, ‘He is my Father.’

To Explain this idea of Neighbour, Jesus gave the Example of the Good Samaritan. Luke 10:25-37.

The Jews of Jesus’ time did not like Samaritans. At All. They would not Mix with the Samaritans; Would not Accept even Water from them, – Which is Why Everybody was Surprised when they found Him Asking for Water from, and Talking to, the Samaritan Woman. John 4: 7-8, 27.

Jesus had even told His disciples: “Do Not go to the Samaritan towns!” Matthew 10:5.

So in the parable of the Good Samaritan, it is This Hated Samaritan Who proves to be the Neighbour.

If ‘I’ am Your Neighbour, ‘You’ are ‘My’ Neighbour.

So, Jesus was saying, Even the Samaritan, whom You all hate so much, is Your Neighbour, and You Have to love him (them) AS MUCH as You love Yourself.

FOR US THAT MEANS, WE HAVE TO LOVE EVERYBODY TOO; ANY CASTE, ANY RELIGION, ANY COUNTRY.

Not just our Family.

A Difference

*******

Without belittling the Jewish People, whom I hold in respect, here is a difference that Christians have to be aware of:

The Difference between Jewish and the Christian Religions.

Image may contain: one or more people and wedding

Christians take it Too easy, thinking

  • attending Church,
  • praying the rosary, or even praying in general,
  • going for the so called ‘pilgrimages,’ – a bus journey, and a sort of picnic for most, and
  • giving out some money

makes them Good People.

This post is to show that it is not enough. We are supposed to Love our Neighbour AS MUCH as We love ourselves.

The Adultery of Priests!

*******

Maundy (Holy) Thursday connotes So many things. The Institution of the Holy Eucharist, as well as that of the Priesthood. …Here’s a thought:
Not Speaking out (enough) is Adultery!
I hold @Pontifex_es, Most #Bishops and Practically All Priests Guilty in this.

How to have Everything!

*******

…Many, many years ago, when I was praying that my youngest sister get married, – it all depended on money, in India, weddings mean money, especially for a Girl, – Dowries are needed, and We are a poor family, …I got what I would call a message from God:

“You take care of my family; and I will take care of Yours!”

…I was in the seminary at that time, so started concentrating on my studies, and thinking and praying on what I could do for suffering Mankind. I can even say I stopped praying for my sister, EXCEPT for One very small prayer for her every day.

…She got married into a Very good family; am Very Happy, and I literally have More than I need.

…Do look up Matthew 6:33. It says, in effect:

Seek first the Kingdom of Heaven, …and All the Rest will Fall in Line!
