Nobody can deny that things are getting better, All around the world, in spite of frightening presentations, especially wrt #Ecology, as excellently presented by #BBCEarth, etc.

What is happening is this:

The focus is economical upliftment of the already rich; #Democracy and particularly #Justice Smothered.

College aged people are Running after ‘love;’

And Colleges are busy dishing out ways to ‘earn’ and to Get better jobs.

#Journalists too, hiding behind Trained Smiles and Brash voices, forever Self proclaiming to be presenting Truth, are Merely Securing their #Salaries.

MOST people seem to have Forgotten things like Being Humane, Decency, Values, Morality, JUSTICE, Freedom, Democracy, etc.

Hence Needed: All-round development.

HOW LONG do you hope to put a (temporary) stop to #constructionwork, #vehiculartraffic, etc, without addressing #stubbleburning and #firecrackers? Till the Next Harvest/Diwali?

CONCLUSION:

It is Time to Rethink #JournalisticObjectivity. The Whole Idea behind that was that people would ‘decide’ for themselves. The Problem is that Indians, by and large, are the Most Apathetic of people. Left to them, my Dear #Journos, the honest among you would all be burnt to death, one by one, and the Cowards would be left to Live with that on their #Conscience, a Very Heavy burden, – Google it if you want.

It is Time to Emphasise the idea of #Journalism is to

‘Serve as a Watchdog over those in power, PARTICULARLY THE #JUDICIARY.’

Who is NOT Guilty?

Can at least these Our Times be Clean? Will at least Our Children Live in Peace? …This Will Not Happen Unless We Speak Out, and Keep Speaking Out.

It ends with the words: “Who speaks today of the Annihilation of Christians under Islam?” …We can commend this person for speaking out for his/her own. But, Who is NOT Guilty? Christians? What of the Crusades? Do We think Rapes and Murder and Looting did not happen then? …Or the War in Bosnia? What of the placing Bombs Public places by the Irish? What of Britain keeping Whole Countries as Slaves? A Systematic, Prolonged and Life – Sucking Annihilation? What of the Slaves during US history?

There are those who would Rejoice in seeing the name US there. What about russia’s ‘Siberian’ Camps? Britain has at least given Freedom to ‘its’ countries today. russia still holds whole Civilizations Slave.

Let us think of Pol Pot. Of Japan of old, eg, during WW II.

Accounts of the Indian partition, the GODHRA incident, and the events at KANDHAMAL do not give a clean chit to Hindus either.

Things Cannot end with saying: ‘Ok, Everybody is Guilty.’ It has to go further. We have to Clean up Our Own Stables. Democracy allows CITIZENS to rule its rulers. If WE do not Speak out, We are also Guilty. More So, as We live in Better-Educated times.

Let us Speak out against Every form of Corruption, evil, Badness, and Crime.

April 24, marks the “Great Crime,” that is, the Armenian genocide that took place under Turkey’s Islamic Ottoman Empire, during and after WWI. Out of an approximate population of two million, some 1.5 million Armenians died.

In her memoir, Ravished Armenia, Aurora Mardiganian described being raped and thrown into a harem (which agrees with Islam’s rules of war). She managed to escape. In the city of Malatia, she saw 16 Christian girls crucified: “Each girl had been nailed alive upon her cross, spikes through her feet and hands, only their hair blown by the wind, covered their bodies.” Such scenes were portrayed in the 1919 documentary film Auction of Souls, some of which is based on Mardiganian’s memoirs.

Put differently, silence is always the ally of those who would commit genocide. In 1915, Adolf Hitler rationalized his genocidal plans, which he implemented some three decades later, when he rhetorically asked: “Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?”
