Horrible, but it is Truth that You say, my Dear Carl. The latest in our corner of the world is regarding the Indian Forest Dept., which is coming into this sort of news Not for the first time.

It is a terrible reflection on society when those designated to protect us do the opposite. We have had a deeply troubling series of police shootings in the United States, these past few years. Sadly, the shootings have provoked a violent response (with police officers killed in retribution). Violence begets violence.

Indeed. That kind of Violence is Not the answer. …And the solution for these things, I think, lie in personnel of the Armed forces and the police should Use their God given Heads, have good Moral and Value formation, (which is the work of Religious Leaders), and follow their Conscience.
